Squeakers and Feathers are Mallard ducks. I raised them from small ducklings and they hatched out clutch of 11 of their own. Unfortunately the ducklings caught a disease and only one survived. The baby lived until it reached about 3 months but a hawk got her. Squeakers (the male) and Feathers (the female) have life pretty good. We have stocked our pool full of minnows and tadpoles for their eating enjoyment, so they are quite fat. Hey, no one said you couldn't spoil all of your pets (even if they are just ducks) ;o)
